Delaware To Vote On Internet Gambling

The state House in Delaware will be voting on a bill that would legalize internet gambling and allow for more sports betting sites, a report by the Associated Press claims.

The bill passed through the House Gaming and Parimutuels Committee on Thursday, and will now make its way to the House and Senate to be voted on before going in front of Governor Jack Markell.

State officials believe that the bill would allow them to remove a slot machine fee that is paid by casinos, which would save the gambling sports $4 million annually. Table fees would also be cut my more than $3 million if the bill is passed.
