Bwin.party digital entertainment has taken action against the Belgian Gaming Commission and the Belgian Federal Justice Minister Annemie Turtelboom by filing an interim injunction against both.
Bwin reportedly filed the injunction at the Court of First Instance in Brussels, Belgium last week due to its site being blocked by the BGC in the country. Bwin and its subsidiaries are demanding that it be removed from the black list due to financial and commercial damage being caused by the blockage. Bwin also claims that its image has been harmed to the restriction.
An initial hearing regarding the matter has been scheduled for the end of the week.
