WMS Will Develop A Website For Partouche

US based gambling giant WMS Industries, Inc. has announced that it has signed an agreement with French gambling firm Groupe Partouche SA, which will see WMS develop an internet casino for Belgian residents.

The site will be branded up the name Casino Knokke and offer many of WMS' custom designed slot games as well as the standard casino fare such as blackjack, video poker, roulette, and baccarat.

WMS hold a variety of licenses to create wagering games based on popular pop culture themes. Among these is the game "The Wizard of Oz" and "I Love Lucy". Those games join other WMS staples such as Goldfish, Life of Luxury, Ree 'em In, Zeus, and Super Jackpot Party. Games will also be tied into the Jackpot Party Progressive system, which can be hit while playing any game, with any wager and is completely random.

Currently Partouche oversees four land based casinos in Belgium and also has a license to conduct internet gambling in the European country. The site will utilize one of the company's nine licenses when it is launched in the summer of 2012.

Commenting on the deal, WMS Presiden Orrin J. Edidin said: "Groupe Partouche is an ideal launch partner for our comprehensive iGaming B2B solutions. We look forward to working collaboratively to create cross-marketing opportunities that will complement their land-based casino operations by providing players with the convenience of playing at home, in addition to playing at the casino."
