Online wagering firm Unibet has announced that it is entering the speed poker gaming market by offering Relax Poker's Fast Poker service.
The new software was launched this week and gives players the opportunity to be automatically switched to a new table when they fold a hand. Unibet's entrance to the market puts it into the same stratosphere as Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, who both offer speed poker products.
This new type of wagering game has proven to be extremely popular, making up 25% of all of PokerStars' cash activity.
Unibet is marketing the release of Fast Poker by offering players a broad range of bonus offers.
In other speed poker news, online poker giant PokerStars is reportedly considering replacing all high stakes games with Zoom Poker tables. Speaking to PokerFuse, PokerStars Poker Room Manager Steve Day said: “In the long run, (PokerStars is) leaning very heavily towards possibly going Zoom-only for high-stakes games. That’s a very real possibility at this point.”
