UK BarclayCard Gambling Transactions Will Have Fees

Gamblers in the UK who use their BarclayCard will be forced to pay a new fee on gambling transactions, a report by ThisIsMoney.co.uk claims.

Right now, gambling transactions are treated as a straight transaction, with no other fees charged in the transaction. This is set to change however, as Barlays will begin treating gambling transactions as a cash withdrawal, with a fee of 2.99% on the wager with a minimum charge of £2.99 beginning on May 28th.
