Online wagering software developer Net Entertainment has confirmed that the Mega Fortune progressive jackpot was won at Betsafe Casino last week.
The company announced that the winner of the €3,949,866.67 is a Norwegian man in his thirties who has played at Betsafe since 2007. The win is the largest ever in Betsafe's history.
Mega Fortune has paid out just over €30 million to punters across the globe in the last 26 months.
Speaking about the win, Net Entertainment CEO Per Eriksson said: "It is incredible how high the jackpot built up after being won just two months earlier. We would like to congratulate the winner on his huge success and we look forward to hopefully making many more millionaires in the coming months."
