Internet Poker Traffic Finally Ticks Up

Internet poker traffic finally ticked up last week following eight consecutive weeks of traffic declines, with overall traffic up 2.8% a report by PokerScout claims.

The traffic surge was industry wide, with five of the top poker sites showing traffic increases of more than 5%. Nine of the ten top sites showed overall traffic improvements.

Zoom Poker is still the big revenue producer in the industry, producing 50% of all cash game hands dealt.

The top poker sites for the week were:

  • PokerStars

  • iPoker Network up 6%

  • PartyPoker down 4%

Other sites showing positive results for the week were:

  • Merge Gaming Network up 72%

  • 888poker up 54%

  • Bodog up 39%

  • Winamax.fr up 33%

  • The Chico Poker Network was up 290%

  • The International Poker Network was down 46%, and the Ongame Network was down 24%
