A copyright lawsuit that was filed against poker site Full Tilt Poker has been through out by a US Federal judge.

Brandon McSmith filed a lawsuit in 2009 against the poker site claiming that Full Tilt stole his ideas for their cancelled television show "Face the Ace".

In an interview with poker website PocketFives, McSmith said that the court has thrown his case out because his idea was just a concept or format, which under current copyright laws, are not protected.

McSmith has created TVPokerTheft.com, which provides full details on the case.
