Bovada Blocks Punters From Washington State

This story was published more than 12 years ago.

Online gambling site Bovada has expanded on its exclusion list of certain US states, blocking residents from Washington state from placing bets on its website.

An email by Bovada to players cites the "continuing difficulties finding and maintaining acceptable payment options” as the reason that the Bodog franchisee has decided to block players from Maryland, New York, Utah, and Washington.

Players in the Evergreen State are advised to withdraw any account balances before the end of April as the company cannot guarantee that funds will be able to be withdrawn.
