Online casino Unibet has announced that it has launched a Live Casino that is dedicated solely to its site, replacing its current Live Dealer Casino that has been in place since 2009.

Unibet's new platform now hosts five dedicated tables with one Roulette and four Blackjack tables. The tables will be hosted out of Riga, with dealers wearing Unibet uniforms and the tables featuring casino specific backdrops. The Live Dealer platform was developed by Evolution Gaming.

Commenting on his company's new platform, Daniel Eskola, Unibet's Head of Gaming said, “The move to a dedicated and fully branded Live Casino with Evolution is a natural transition for Unibet. Live Casino is an exciting growth area and with our own dedicated environment we can really capitalise on the value of our brand in key markets worldwide. In practical terms, this gives us a great deal of flexibility in presentation and service delivery, which in turn helps us to strengthen our relationships with customers.”

Evolution Gaming Head of Account Management Sebastian Johannisson also spoke about the Live Dealer launch, saying “Live Casino is still very much a young and growing market sector with huge potential. Unibet are one of the early movers in expanding their live games offering, while also focusing on consistent branding and continuing improvement of the online customer experience. We are confident that they will reap the rewards very quickly after go-live. We are confident also that Unibet’s Live Casino strategy will continue to deliver exciting growth potential as this progressive brand looks to customise and localise its offering still further in the future.”
