Police In Indonesia Bust Online Gambling Ring

Police in Jakarta, Indonesia announced that they have conducted a sting on an online gambling ring, arresting six men but leaving the owner on the run.

The illegal website was named Kakakdewa.com and brought in an average of Rp 300 to Rp 400 million daily. Police were tipped off about the online gambling ring by local residents and detained six men for further questioning.

The site's owner, a man known only as RH was not at the site when the sting went down. Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto commented on the man's suspected whereabouts, saying "We have deployed a team to pursue RH, who according to preliminary investigations, has fled to China.”
