Online poker firm PokerStars has a hit on its hands, as the company's new game Zoom Poker is proving to be incredibly popular.
Zoom Poker was launched into a real money beta last Friday on a limited number of Omaha and Hold'em tables, with a maximum limit of 1,500 players at a time. That number was quickly reached and maintained throughout the weekend.
Because of the popularity of the game, PokerStars plans to add more tables, more poker styles, and tournaments to the Zoom Poker action.
Zoom Poker is a game wherein players are taken to a different table as soon as the player folds a hand. It has proven to be very popular since it was originally introduced by Full Tilt Poker last year, and many other poker operators are adopting the format.
