IGT Partners With Joingo For MegaJackpots App

Gambling software giant International Game Technology and mobile developer Joingo have partnered together to develop a MegaJackpots App that gives players immediate access to jackpot information pertaining to IGT games.

MegaJackpots is IGT's first application that is targeted to American players. The app will use location awareness and will give details on where to play a particular game, showcase featured games, and recent jackpot winners. MegaJackpots will also allow players to use social media to connect through YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.

Commenting on the app, Joingo CEO Steve Boyle said “With identical stand-alone apps utilizing ‘push’ technology for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry, plus mobile web and MMS/SMS for feature phones, IGT can seamlessly reach 99% of mobile users, an exceptional feat in the very fragmented mobile domain."

MegaJackpots is available for download through iTunes, the Android Market, and Blackberry AppWorld.
