Online wagering software developer Microgaming has announced that it has signed an agreement with Pedigree Group Limited to produce an online slot based on the football magazine Shoot.
Shoot is a popular British football magazine that began circulation in 1969 and provides analysis and contributions from football stars such as Bobby Moore, Alan Ball, Frank Lampard, and John Terry. The deal between Microgaming and Pedigree Group Limited was brokered by licensing agents Bulldog Licensing Limited and AT New Media.
Commenting on the deal, Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said “There is a summer of soccer ahead and we will have a market-leading game with Shoot, which will kick it off in style. We are delighted to be associated with this iconic brand and look forward to launching a game that will attract players at a time when they will be highly engaged in the sport. There will be no substitute!”
Bulldog Managing Director Rob Corney also commented, saying “We are delighted to be announcing this new deal. Online gamers like brands they know and can identify with and Shoot fits the bill perfectly. This agreement once again highlights the brand’s huge versatility!”
