Rep. Bono Mack Comments On DoJ Opinion

U.S. House Representative Mary Bono Mack has said that the Department of Justice's change of stance on The Wire Act has "created considerable uncertainty for the legal future of online gambling".

Bono Mack made the comments after the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee, which Bono Mack chairs, held several hearings on the subject. The Representative from California and widow of musician and former politician Sonny Bono has said that any future hearings would likely involve testimony from law enforcement officials as well as workers from the DoJ.
