Online poker giant PokerStars looks to be set on taking the Spanish online gambling market by storm as it has announced the acquisition of poker site Cara de Poker.
Cara de Poker was operated by the iPoker Network and has been closed since the acquisition. Players from the site have been transferred over to PokerStars, which will be open in Spain once the country's new gambling laws take effect next year.
On Wednesday Cara de Poker announced that all accounts will be credited on PokerStars in addition to all accumulated VIP-CDP points.
There has been no mention of the considerations that PokerStars paid for Cara de Poker.
