Online poker giant PokerStars has announced that it has released an online poker app dedicated to its Italian customers on the iTunes store.
The app, which is rumored to have been in development for over two years, joins two other apps that the company has released: PokerStars TV, and PokerStars Clock.
The new app will allow players to play for real cash and participate in tournaments, chat with other players, and use tutorials. Various styles of poker included in the app include Hold'em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo.
The Italian mobile market could prove to be a lucrative market for PokerStars. According to Poker News Report, Italy is one of Europe's leaders in mobile usage. The poker giant already has a brand in Italy with its website Pokerstars.it, and the app is sure to be helped with business.
