Joe Barton To Speak At Gaming Summit

United States Congressman Joe Barton will be the keynote speaker at the Digital Gaming and Lottery Policy Summit, which takes place December 5-6th at the Washington DC Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.

Congressman Barton will be speaking about digital gambling from the federal side, while New Jersey State Senator Ray Lesniak will speak about digital gambling from a state's perspective. Also joining the two politicians will be Iowa Senator Jeff Danielson as well as lottery and gaming directors from New Hampshire, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, and Pennsylvania.

The summit was organized to bring gambling operators, lotteries, technology providers, policy makers and regulators together to discuss policy changes that could move the industry forward within the United States. The event's goal is to organize stronger relationships among various parties involved in digital gambling, while giving a greater understanding of the issues involved.

Topics covered at the summit include: Security, financial transactions, age verification, geo-location, social media and advertising and marketing.
