Bodog Europe laid out its plans to expand its market share within the continent in an interview with Marketing Week.
Dee Dutta, Marketing Chief for Bodog Europe revealed that the company is getting set to launch a new wave of services that will be promoted with a multi-million pound marketing campaign with the goal of increasing the company's market share in the UK market.
After being granted three licenses by the UK Gambling Commission, Bodog will be setting up a new UK entity next year. Horse racing is coming to the site within the next few weeks, and live dealer services will soon be integrated into the casino product.
The current marketing team of 20 will also be expanded to 40 employees, who will be supported by additional creative agencies.
”The UK is the largest regulated market in the world today and we want to be part of that." Dutta said. “The decision was not taken on market share. The key thing is to develop trust with the UK customer. This is one of the most important things for the industry.”
Dutta also spoke about the overhaul of the casino service, saying that they are “hugely neglected part of the online gaming space despite being the highest profit generator by far”.
