Microgaming's Quickfire Releasing Multi-Player Roulette

This story was published more than 12 years ago.

Online gambling software developer Microgaming's Quickfire division has announced the pending release of a multi-player roulette game.

The game is a spin off of Premier Roulette, one of the most popular Microgaming casino games. It will allow players to place wheel wagers while online, with players choosing the intervals between spins. The intervals range from 20 to 60 seconds per spin.

Commenting on the game, Quickfire spokesperson Ashley Sandyford-Sykes said, “Gaming is shifting so quickly and players’ demands are changing fast. Social gaming is becoming increasingly popular and Multi-Player Roulette brings a community feel to a relatively traditional game, replicating the land-based atmosphere in the players' own homes. This will be a new product line for Quickfire and it will work alongside our current Quickfire Flash casino, mobile, live dealer, mini and nano games.”

Bet3000 Director of Affiliate Marketing Ellen Learmonth said, "The community bonuses and chat application will improve player engagement and enhance the overall gaming experience. We think the games will prove to be very popular with our customer base, as they appeal to socially active players.”

The game is set for release by the end of the year.

Sounds quite interesting, multi-player roulette is something innovative, as we've seen all the possible roulette variations so far (no zero, double zero (american), RNG, live wheel....)
