French Police Arrest Four For Poker Fraud

This story was published more than 12 years ago.

French police in Cannes have arrested three Italian citizens and one Frenchman on fraud charges related to cheating at poker inside the Les Princes Casino.

The charges came during a World Series Of Poker tournament currently taking place in France, although the Les Prince Casino is not associated in any way with the poker series.

Police claim the four men were arrested after taking nearly €30,000 in winnings from the casino. The French citizen worked for the casino and was allegedly dealing hands to the Italians that were from a deck marked in invisible ink. The ink was visible to the cheaters through custom contact lenses.

Wooow they seem to have planned the operation very seriously. I guess they deserve to be arrested, but the invisible ink seen only with special contact lenses is quite a good method for cheating... at school LOL 😂
