Betsson Releases Q3 Results

Sweden based gambling company Betsson AB has released its third quarter results for the year, showing positive growth amid solid numbers.

Performance indicators the quarter were:

  • Revenues of SEK 465.7 million, up from SEK 385.1 million during the same period last year.
  • Operating margin of 32.8% up from 21.0% during the same period last year.
  • Operating income of SEK 152.8 million, up from SEK 80.7 million during the same period last year, an increase of 89%.
  • Before tax income of SEK 146.5 million up from 80.7 million during the same period last year.
  • Net Income of SEK 138.4 million, up from SEK 76.3 million during the same period last year.
  • No interest bearing liabilities and liquid funds of SEK 490.3 million up from SEK 377.3 million during the same period last year.
  • Registered players now number 3.4 million, up from 2.8 million during the same period last year, an increase of 21%.

A Betsson spokesperson stated that three new B2B collaborations began this year, GunnersGaming.com, harrycasino.com, and dhoze.com.

Betsson CEO and President Magnus Silfverberg commented on the numbers, saying: “The B2C segment is displaying the highest level of underlying activity which we have ever seen and the B2B segment has launched three new collaborations. At the same time, we are adapting the Group to comply with new regulations across Europe. Being able to make these changes while posting good results is proof of our strength.”
