Betfred Adopting IGT Platform

UK based BetFred has announced that it is adopting International Game Technology's software platform; the first online casino operator to take advantage of IGT's new office and data center.

As part of the deal, IGT's RGS platform will be available at BetFred along with its many games. These games include Da Vinci Diamonds, Elvis, Monopoly, and Star Trek.

Commenting on the deal, BetFred Managing Director Chris Sheffield said, "Games are a key focus area for the company and we are committed to continually improving the player experience on the site."

"As we are licensed in Gibraltar, it was an easy decision to make the move over to the IGT rgs platform and boost our selection of market-leading games."

Alex Kelly , vice president of Interactive, IGT, added: "We are delighted that Betfred.com has become the first of our partners to be serviced from our new office and data centre in Gibraltar."

Recently BetFred revamped its website with new colors and sharp graphics, and was developed around the feedback from participants in focus groups, marketing research and contests that allowed BetFred players to get in on the act.
