Bally Technologies is reportedly optimistic about the opportunity that legal online gambling in the United States may bring, having already developed several games for Apple products.
In a report by the Philadelphia Enquirer the newspaper looked at the gaming technologies company and made particular note of the impact the company is making on social and mobile levels. This includes the acquisition of Macro View Labs earlier this year. Macro View Labs develops apps and websites for mobile based devices.
Mike Trask, a Bally Technologies Spokesman spoke about his company's games, saying: "You can download several of our games now from an iTunes store. You can download them onto your iPhone, iPad, Droid, you name it, and practice for your next trip to the casino.It's real exciting."
He then spoke of the company's mobile goals, saying: "The goal, at the end of the day, is to provide the same experience for a player no matter where he's physically located . . . whether inside a casino, on a website, or while waiting in line at the grocery store."
