The stage is set for an international poker battle as the rosters have been announced for the Caesars Cup Poker Tournament.
The tournament will feature two teams: the United States and Europe. Professional poker players from the regions will fill out the rosters, with five players on each side. Phil Hellmuth with captain the United States and Bertrand Grospellier will head up the European team.
This year's tournament will see players facing off in no limit competition, featuring partner and heads up formats. Points will be awarded for the different events. The tournament was last held in 2009 and saw Europe sweep the Caesars Cup.
Tournament Director Ty Stewart earlier this week said, “Team Americas has a score to settle after what most considered a colossal upset in London. You see a real rivalry developing as European players continue to win more tournaments around the world.”
