Italian Gambling Numbers Up Big Again

The Italian gambling regulator known as AAMS has issued a report showing the country's 8 month total for gambling wagers was up sharply over the same time last year.

Wagers for the first 8 months of the year totaled €48.3 billion, which is up 23.85% over the same period last year. For the month of August, wagers were €6.418 billion.

As of the end of July, AAMS reported year to date totals of 21.45% growth.
