Washington D.C. based coalition FairPlayUSA has announced that it has brought on Former Pennsylvania Governor Tom RIdge and Former FBI Director Louis Freech as members of its Advisory Board.

Freeh, who served as FBI Director from 1993 to 2001 commented on his addition to the Advisory Board, saying "Current federal laws fail to provide U.S. law enforcement with vital tools to address illegal internet gambling, enabling a 'wild-west' atmosphere.

"I am joining FairPlayUSA to improve this environment by clarifying these laws, better empowering law enforcement agencies to crack down on violators and using licensing and regulation to ensure safe and legal online poker."

FairPlayUSA was formed earlier this year with the goal of educating legislators and the public on the need to restructure current internet gambling laws. Membership in the group consists of former politicians, law enforcement officials and consumer protection advocates.
