Danish Poker Professional Wins WCOOP Main Event

Danish poker pro Thomas "Kallllle" Pedersen came out on top at the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker Main Event earlier this week, earning $1,260,019 and his first ever WCOOP bracelet.

Pederson beat out 1,627 other players this week to take home the bracelet, with several big names taking part in the main event. The final table consisted of Pederson along with Ramzi Jelassi, VadziMoney, Vojtech Rusika, Mike Leah, Whysosrsson, jlego and Nick Hahn.

Pederson dominated the event, causing six of the final eight players in the main event to bust out. He ended up getting $1.1 million in a five way chop as well as an extra $100,000 for winning the tournament.

This year the WCOOP had 62 events and $47 million in prizes since starting on September 4th.
