Casino Owner Considering Online Poker

South Point Casino owner Michael Gaughan has taken a proactive step in making sure his gambling company is among the first to offer online poker, should the game be legalized in the United States.

Gaughan, who earlier in the year voiced his support for legalizing online poker, announced that he is launching a free to play online poker website that will be opening in the "next couple of weeks."

Gaughan said, "I’m just getting my feet wet but I expect that down the line I am going to be applying for a license."

Gaughn will reportedly partner with ZEN Entertainment, which is based out of Las Vegas, the same city as Gaughan's South Point Casino. ZEN currently operates free play websites, including one for Hustler publisher Larry Flynt.
