Betdaq Sponsoring London Ruby Club

Ireland based sports betting company Betdaq has completed a deal with the London Irish Ruby Club that will see Betdaq becoming the team's official betting and gaming partner for the 2011-2012 season.

Richard Marsh, Commercial Director for the London Irish Ruby Club said, “Through this partnership we are looking forward to working with Shane and his team on engaging with our supporter base in new and innovative ways. The strength of the club’s profile and its ambition has stood us in good stead in attracting new money to the sport in the build up to this coming season.”

As part of the deal, Betdaq will have its logo on the backside of all London Irish first team player jerseys in which the team plays Aviva Premiership games and Heineken Cup matches. When the team is playing home games at Madejski Stadium, Reading, Betdaq will receive logo space on LED boards and inside concourse areas in addition to logo placement on the big screen. Additionally, Betdaq will be providing online betting services which are to include:

-Bespoke offers - Odds on matches - Bets on other events with unique content designed for the London Irish team website.

Shane McLaughlin, Marketing Director for Betdaq commented, saying “Our sponsorship of London Irish will help us reach new audiences in a growing market. The rugby club has a very large supporter base worldwide and there are a number of similarities between the brands, not least the Irish connection. The imminent timing of the Rugby World Cup makes this agreement particularly exciting.”
