5050 Poker Accepted Into NASDAQ

Online poker company 5050 Poker Holdings AB has been accepted into the NASDAQ OMX First North and will begin trading today in the Consumer Discretionary Sector.

5050 Poker Holdings AB is a Swedish based company that was founded in 2007. Its current focus is on poker, but the company intends to expand its gaming options to casino gambling, and entertainment gaming with a focus on the European gambling market. Recently the company gained market exclusivity in the Montenegro online market as it teamed up with Casino Avala and Montestars.

A statement by 5050 Poker Holding AB CEO Patrick Sjögren said, “We are very pleased with the strong interest in our listing, and now we look forward to benefiting from the investor reach and brand awareness that comes with being a listed company. We have shown significant growth in the last year and will leverage our listing at First North to continue to build an international and profitable gaming company.”
