Poker Pros Network Leaving Cake

Poker Pros Network has announced that it is leaving the Cake Poker Network as well as the American market.

In a statement released Thursday, Poker Pros said: "In an effort to comply with current US legislation, Poker Pros Network recently adjusted its URL to PPNpoker.eu."

"In addition, PPNpoker.eu will be moved to a proprietary network in the near future."

On August 31st at midnight EST, PPNpoker.eu will cease to accept US player registrations, but current US players and customers that register before that time period will be allowed to play on an exemption which was agreed to with PPNpoker.com and PPNpoker.eu. It is currently estimated that the new software for the company will be introduced sometime in early fall with new features such as dealer choice games and live dealers.

Poker Pros Network Owner Chuck Kidd said, "We here at PPN are dedicated to improving our software, creating a safe environment for players to compete, and encouraging our pros to be available to customers at all stake levels. It's been a lot of work, but what we're introducing later this year should turn the online poker industry on its head."

U.S. Players: This may be an opportunity for you to get your hands on some real money poker. I made sure to sign up for an account there before the expiration date and hope to be able to play poker there until some more options open up for us.

Places to play for real money are limited right now and I have been having difficulty finding a good spot. Hopefully this place works out.
