Gambler Who Scammed Clients Gets Six Years

This week Daniel J. Trolaro, a former insurance agent was sentenced to six years in prison after he stole money from his clients to feed his online gambling addiction.

Trolaro (35), admitted to the crime in July and later plead guilty to second degree theft. Admitting to stealing from nine clients, he took the money and played at online casinos. Instead of hitting it big, Trolaro will instead be behind bars for the next 72 months. The victims in the case have all been paid by Prudential, who Trolaro worked for.
