Authorities Search For Missing Online Gambler

According to a report by Irish news service The Sunday Independent, a search has begun to find the whereabouts of a postal worker who went missing after it was discovered that €2 million was missing from Gorey Post Office.

Tony O'Reilly went missing four days ago reportedly is an online gambler who may have been losing as much as €20,000 per day at Paddy Power. After leaving for work at 6:30 last week, his wife received a text message informing her that he had been involved in an automobile accident. Auditors at the post office where O'Reilly worked received the same message. Since he went missing, neither of O'Reilly's mobile phones or his bank account has shown any activity.

Police are investigating the incident say they are now investigating the CCTV footage along O'Reilly's route to determine his whereabouts on the day he went missing in addition to seeking information regarding the fraudulent activity at the employee's post office branch. So far his car has yet to be spotted.

In reference to the online casino in which O'Reilly gambled, a Paddy Power spokesmen said they cannot comment on clients, ""Our relationship with our customers is private and we do not discuss individual customers. Should any of our customers have an issue with gambling, we have many measures in place to assist them,".
