Alderney And Denmark Will Work Together

The gaming commissions of Alderney and Denmark announced earlier this week that they had agreed on terms to form a bilateral cooperation agreement.

The agreement will help the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the Danish Gambling Authority share information related to any gambling related information the commissions deem necessary. The agreement will be signed and put into effect when the Danish Gaming Act takes effect.

The Danish Gaming Act was passed in 2010 and legislates the ways in which casinos operate. The reach of the Act extends from licensing to fees to marketing in addition to regulation of SMS messaging games. An exact date for the law to take effect are unclear as of this date.
