Development of air passenger services in former Portuguese enclave

Access to the worlds biggest gambling Mecca will improve with the upgrade of Macau International Airport announced Simon Chan Weng Hong , president of the Macau Civil Aviation Authority .

A new development plan has been drawn up to improve airport services which will allow the airport to cater for 7.1 million passengers annually by 2020, increasing by a further 7.9 million passengers by 2030.

Macau International Airport 's current statistics recorded 4.08 million passengers using the airport in 2010, 4% down from the previous year.
