Mobile gaming is becoming a big business for Betfair. In the last 12 months over 900 million bets worth over £1 Billion had been placed by the company's 168,000 customers who use their mobile device to gamble. Betfair applications for Apple's iPhone and iPad have also been downloaded over 220,000 times by customers in over 14 countries.
Betfair, based in England was launched in 2000 and currently stands as the world's largest betting exchange. The company posted £ 340.9 Million in revenue for 2010.
