Barabara's queen of online bingo television campaign receives accolade

Online bingo operator Jackpotjoy's 'Queen of Bingo' advertising campaign featuring veteran actress and comedienne Barbara Windsor has been awarded the Bullet Business award for Best Marketing Campaign 2010. The campaign launched last September, making Jackpotjoy one of the UK's most recognisable gaming brands.

Beginning with a series of thirty and fifteen second TV adverts, shown during peak time on ITV1, the campaign was supported by a month of on-site promotions themed around the coronation of the Queen of Bingo.

Jackpot Joy md Michael Saunders, said the campaign was designed to be a fully integrated, cross-platform campaign, because the adverts needed support across the online space. He opined that it was not enough to spend money solely on TV advertising and expect to gain traction in a market as competitive as online gaming.
