The online poker Bad Beat Jackpot on GTechG2's Internaional Poker Network has hit record levels and is now approaching €750,000 (over one million US dollars) the company announced this week. To win the jackpot a player must be dealt a hand of Quad 10’s or higher and have it bested on one of the network's Bad Beat Jackpot tables. The player who achieves this can look forward to a €250,000 windfall.
Competitors on the same table s the bad beat player also benefit by over €16,000.
The current jackpot significantly exceeds the previous IPN record of €600,000, a company spokesman revealed this week.
Top online poker operators on the IPN include VirginPoker, PokerHeaven, MermaidPoker and SportingBet.
GTechG2 recently announced a €2 million investment into the IPN which will deliver bigger tournaments and promotions to players.
