Peter Brown, a newsagent in Torquay, Cornwall is the latest online gambler to hit the jackpot bigtime, claiming a £345,253 and change payout from William Hill Online's Playtech-powered progressive slot Leprechaun's Luck. The 44 year old father played a £1 spin on the popular slot game and turned it into a fortune.
The online player opened his account with William Hill in 2001, and is now one of the biggest all-time winners on William Hill Online.
"I’m still in shock, I just can’t believe it" said a delighted Peter Brown, "When it came up on the screen that I’d won – I thought I was dreaming – and it wasn’t until someone from William Hill rang to congratulate me that it started to sink in.
"My father in-law is Irish and when I told him I’d won £345,000 on a game called Leprechaun’s Luck - he thought I was pulling his leg. We’ll be raising a pint of Guinness to William Hill over next few days!
"I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the money, but I fancy buying a new Jeep and maybe a brand new 3D TV."
