The Gibraltar-based online gambling group 888 reports that it has passed its first certification process (“Collaudo”) with the Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS), the Italian regulatory authority. The certification will enable 888 and its independent B2B division Dragonfish to offer online gaming solutions to customers and partners in the booming Italian market.

The offering includes Dragonfish’s Total Gaming Services solution, which offers partners a turnkey gaming operation, as well as the CasinoFlex product.

CasinoFlex will enable Dragonfish partners to deploy its casino gaming suite, together with complimentary marketing tools, whilst using their own back office and wallet.

Dragonfish has already engaged with leading Italian partners, such as Microgame, Gioco Digitale / bwin.it and King.com, for the deployment of its CasinoFlex, with several more deals imminent.

Itai Frieberger, 888’s Chief Operation Officer, said:

“This successful certification of our products by AAMS further reaffirms our focus and commitment to the growing Italian eGaming market.

"We have been active under the Italian online regulated regime over the past few years, and we are looking forward to further bolstering our gaming proposition through our 888.it operation, as well as through our Dragonfish powered partners.

"We aim to present Italian players with a world-class, fully localized gaming experience by leveraging on our 14 years of online casino excellence. We welcome new opportunities to grow our market share as Italy becomes increasingly active.”
