The Microgaming Poker Network has seen some impressively large winners over the Easter period. The headline guaranteed tournament for the Easter Festival, which was the largest guaranteed tournament ever run on the network, paid out €750,000 to 130 players, with a Unibet player finishing in first place and taking home a main prize of €176,250.

The MTT Jackpot, a promotion that awards players who finish in the money in the daily 1-2-3 and 3-2-1 multi-table tournaments, was won for the first time by a Ladbrokes player, who received a €20,000 prize in addition to €678 in tournament winnings.

The MTT Jackpot is a regular promotion on the Microgaming Poker Network, with €20,000 being awarded to any player who can finish first in both tournaments. Players who finish in the money in both tournaments also have their money doubled.

The Bad Beat Jackpot was also struck this week after recently being seeded with $200,000. The Jackpot was split by four players on 26th April, with the winner taking home over $97,000.

The top two finishers in the €750,000 Guaranteed tourney and the lucky loser in the Bad Beat Jackpot were all Unibet players.

Daniel Eskola, head of poker at Unibet, described the Easter weekend's action as "monumental."
