It's been a busy week for online poker software developers, it seems. Following the release of Playtech's latest v.9.6 software, GTechG2 has launched an upgrade as well. GTechG2, whose corporate stable includes Boss Media, Finsoft, Dynamite Idea and St Minver, has announced the release of version 7.3 of its online poker software, which gives players on its International Poker Network more choice at the table and added convenience at the cashier.
The latest software update allows players to pick their own seat at a poker table while using the same wallet they would employ for casino and sportsbetting transactions.
"Being able to choose your own seat at the table may seem like a small thing to some but we design everything from the player's perspective," said Wendy Lawrence from GTech G2. "So, when players told us this is a feature they'd like to see, we built it in,"
The upgrade also means that players no longer have to transfer funds when switching from casino games to poker or from poker to sportsbetting. Customers can now use the same wallet for all products given that the firm's poker software is better integrated with its player-centric Gaming Management System back-end.
