Italy's giant Internet service provider, Microgame S.p.A. has signed another online betting deal, this time with the UK based specialist software provider Football 1x2 Ltd. The deal will result in Football 1X2 virtual sportsbetting games being integrated into Microgame's People's Network within the next few months.
Football 1x2 Ltd. will provide the current range of 24 virtual, numerical and themed Panorama games for Microgame's catalogue of skill games and games of chance, available on some 100 Italian gaming website members of the People's Network, which has over 1.4 million registered users.
The main product is the revolutionary virtual football game "Football1x2", a flash player product which simulates a whole football season in an hour. The complex game creates a full fixture list from the English Premiership to the Italian Serie A right through to over 40 leagues around the world covering the most popular bet types.
World Cup 2010 will be the newest addition to the virtual football games. World Cup South Africa will follow on from the immensely popular Germany '06 - still played three years on - with a 100% replica of the teams and betting opportunities around the 2010 World Cup tournament proper.
Through a broadcast game delivered every 20 minutes, players are faced with every game in the World Cup schedule from the group stages right through to the World Cup final - 72 times every 24 hours - with ample opportunity to bet.
The World Cup South Africa game follows Football 1X2's suite of virtual football games covering all major domestic leagues, the Champions League and the European Championship.
Fabrizio D'Aloia, President and CEO of Microgame S.p.A. said this week: "The Italian online gaming market is moving very fast these days. Consequently it is important that our gaming operator clients can offer continuously new and challenging products to the players.
"Many of our clients come from the sports betting sector and look for new models to continue to win customers and compete on the market. Football1x2 is therefore a particularly interesting product because it combines the guaranteed margins of instant win games with the emotional involvement of traditional sports betting."
James Randall Doughty, chief operating officer of Football1x2 Limited said: "We are delighted to announce the partnership with Microgame for the supply of our Panorama gaming platform. We feel sure our games will naturally complement the current channels Microgame offers its partners."
Last (December) month Microgame signed with RM Royal Media Ltd. for the integration of Rummy games into the People's Network in the first quarter 2010.
