A delighted New Jersey punter had more than his fair share of luck this week when a store clerk sold him the wrong type of scratchcard, but one that turned out to be a big winner.

The punter, who has elected to remain anonymous, ordered a Deuces Wild scratch-off lottery ticket from a convenience store clerk Monday, but was inadvertently given an Aces High ticket instead.

He had disappeared before the store clerk realised her error and ran outside to look for him.

Barely an hour later the man returned to claim a $100,000 prize on the card!
