The UK online sportsbetting group Sportingbet has inked a deal making it a sponsor of the Wolves football club in England in a sponsorship agreement reputed to be worth seven figures but not yet fully disclosed.

The two-year club sponsorship deal with the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club (Wolves) goes into effect in June 2009, and is worth over seven figures, representing the biggest sponsorship agreement in Wolves' 132-year history, Sportingbet said in a statement.

The agreement is that Sportingbet.com will become the club's official betting partner and will also sponsor the Wolves' website.

The betting company will also have a major brand presence at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton and will appear on Wolves' new shirts and on all technical training kits.

Football represents about 65% of Sportingbet's total sports betting revenue, the company said.
