Mobile gambling technology provider and Microgaming associate Spin3 has launched an innovative "top up" promotion that is being offered to the mobile player who hits the current Major Millions progressive jackpot before it tops a million.
The jackpot is currently worth £975,000 and rising, and the successful player who strikes lucky before the magic million is reached will have his win topped up to the full million by Spin3 via the operator of whichever Spin3 mobile casino hosts the big win.
A three-reel progressive slot machine, the Major Millions jackpot is synchronized in real-time with Microgaming's progressive jackpot network. By placing a game-high £3 wager, players stand to win the progressive jackpot, which is won when three Major Millions symbols land on the third payline.
Matti Zinder, Head of Spin3, says, "We are hopeful that we will see the first mobile millionaire very shortly. The market is ripe and now is the perfect time to usher in a new benchmark for mobile gaming. To this end, we have decided to top-up an operator to 1,000,000 should their player win the Major Millions jackpot before the progressive ticker hits the million-mark."
The winning amount shown on the progressive ticker is paid out in the currency in which the winner has played the game. Therefore, if played in the UK the 1,000,000 is paid in pounds sterling, however if in Spain, this would be €1,000,000 (approx £790,000). Spin3 will pay the operator in the same currency as the player wagered.
