If someone told you that there is a game out there that is a hybrid of roulette and poker, you would probably think to yourself that is not only fairly unusual, but that it is also fairly intriguing and maybe even fun. Those would all be good ways of describing Wild Viking - a game that is unique and certainly worth trying out.
Wild Viking works like a roulette game in that you must first decide what it is you would like to bet on before seeing the five cards drawn. The five cards essentially replace the roulette spin itself. Possible bet types include the type of suit or color you think will appear, whether cards will be odd or even, or even what kind of poker hands will be drawn. Five cards are then revealed and you are paid according to the pay table in the game. Aside from the normal 52 card deck, two jokers are thrown into the mix to make things a little more interesting and increase your chances of winning.
In order to win the progressive jackpot shown at the top of the screen, you must place a special side bet of 1 credit. When this is activated, you must hope for the Wild Viking Royal Flush, whereby the wilds are drawn as the first and fifth cards while the other three are any combination of aces, kings, queens, jacks or 10s all of the same suit. Note that in a Wild Viking Royal Flush the wilds must be the first and last card in the poker hand combination.
