Net Entertainment's Caribbean Stud jackpot can be won when playing the poker-based game of the same name. Caribbean Stud Poker is a game that is available at just about all of the casinos mentioned on our site. It's not hard to see why. The game is fun, plays very quickly and, best of all, offers players the opportunity to win what is usually a fairly large jackpot by activating a very small side bet.

This game is very easy to pick up and plays very fluidly. The goal here is to have a better hand than the dealer. Start by making an ante bet and, if you want to have a chance of winning the progressive jackpot, the optional side bet of $1. Next, you and the dealer each receive five-card hands. You must now decide whether you wish to fold, or call and automatically double your ante. If you decide to play on, the dealer's hand is revealed and several things can happen: If the dealer has a better hand than you, you lose twice your ante. Should the dealer fail to 'qualify,' i.e. have an ace-king hand or better, you win twice your ante. If the dealer qualifies and you have a better hand, you win twice your ante as well as an amount that is based on the strength of your hand. The strength of hand payouts can be found by looking at the pay table.

The jackpot comes into play when you put in the $1 side bet into the 'jackpot' ante circle. This makes you eligible for the big prize. Once you have made this bet, cross your fingers and hope to be dealt a royal flush hand to take home the jackpot.

Players should note that this jackpot is not a pooled progressive that it shared amongst all casinos that offer Net Ent's game of Caribbean Stud. In fact it is what we call a local jackpot, which means that the amount is different at every different casino that offers the game. That means of course that you should shop around if you are hunting this jackpot, and try to play at the casino offering the highest current prize. Of course the easiest way to do that is to regularly check this page and keep an eye on the current jackpots available.
