Progressive jackpot history
SupaJax is a Microgaming Jacks or Better video poker jackpot. Unlike most other video poker games, the jackpot is not paid if the player makes a royal flush. Instead the deck in SupaJax features an additional SupaJax card which is effectively an extra jack. The progressive jackpot is paid when the player wagers the maximum 5 coins and makes a hand of four jacks plus the SupaJax card.
The coin size of SupaJax is fixed at $1 and you may play up to 5 coins per hand. It is important to remember that you must wager the full 5 coins if you want to win the progressive jackpot. If played with correct strategy, the break-even point for the jackpot is reached when the meter hits $52,426. Above this number, the game offers a positive expected value on each wager.
Instead of paying out the progressive jackpot, a royal flush pays up to $3000 depending on the number of coins wagered on the hand. Playing the maximum 5 coins pays out proportionally more on a royal flush; playing 1 to 4 coins pays $250 per coin while playing 5 coins pays $3000 which works out to be $600 per coin.
